It's time for change. It's time to stop the gravy train at city hall!

My goal is to represent all the people of Ward 20 and to fight for the things that can make our community prosperous, beautiful and safe.

I believe in a strong and vibrant private sector as a driver of economic growth; effective and efficient delivery of government services critical to our health and well-being; a policing system that balances the need for safe streets with a respect for individual rights; and Accountability, Responsibility and Accessibility at City Hall.

Until recently, I never considered entering politics. But, things are very wrong in this city; we receive less and less but are taxed more and more. Businesses are closing and/or moving outside the city and it’s tougher to get by day to day and we don’t get the same quality of service that we use to….. I decided enough is enough, and to stand up and make a difference. As a Federal government employee, I have been rigorously trained and tested in legislation, policy, public accountability and proper conduct. I have the leadership skills, determination, drive and temperament to be an excellent city councillor. I firmly believe in team work and cooperation.  I want to clean up City Hall. I know I can make a difference.

I encourage every resident to take the time to see how our current councillor is spending our money. Please review his voting record. I don't think you will be very pleased.

We need change at City Hall.  Rise up and be heard!  On October 25, Mayor Miller is out; let's send his side kick Adam Vaughan with him.

Thank You,

Mike Yen
